Now this is a fun game to play, I was lucky enough to purchase a copy of the first edition from Joe J Prince of http://www.princeofdarknessgames.com/ when he was at Dragonmeet a few years ago. It would have been more of a laugh if more than two of us played it but that’s for next time 🙂

Race to build sandcastles on the beach before the big wave. Attack with gulls, crabs and buckets – earn bonuses. It’s summer in a box.
I remember playing Andrew’s previous Kickstarter at Dragonmeet a couple of years back and it was a lot of fun to play. I didn’t back that one as I didn’t think my group would want to play it.

Zombie simulator lets you plan your own apocalypse
It was only a little while ago that I wrote about Zombie infection spread table for Savage Worlds and I gave you a link to an article containing a complex mathematical formula for modelling a zombie outbreak. Since then Alexi Alemi of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and his colleagues have developed an interactive simulator.

Kickstarter – Fabled Environments Presents: Wild West Floorplans
You got your sarsaparilla and some purdy dice, but somethin’s missin’! You need some shiny new western floor plans for your table!!
Even though I don’t yet have a use for these plans, if I ever get around to doing the western game then I may have to make use of these plans.
I have backed their previous project for the shopping mall and I was very impressed with it, a massive shopping mall ready to be printed out.

Kickstarter – FAITH: The Sci-fi RPG
This certainly l0oks interesting: FAITH: The Sci-fi RPGby Burning Games.
A sci fi RPG in a box. Played with cards. Shape your character and choose your God wisely to survive in a struggling Universe.
It looks like a cool concept but what’s putting me off is the initial outlay for the game, since I’m backing one expensive Kicstarter at the moment I’m unlikely to be backing this one.

International GM’s Day March Fo(u)rth for GM’s Day!
Today is International GM’s Day March Fo(u)rth for GM’s Day! The one day a year when we celebrate the people who take time to provide us all with an evening gaming.
It is also the anniversary of Gary Gygax’s passing and the birthday of a very good friend of mine who has run games for me in the past.
Perhaps I’ll surprise her with something geeky as I know she’ll love that 🙂

Bundle of Holding – Torg +2
Those good folks at Bundle of Holding are hosting a second Torg bundle, which also includes the revised edition plus a new collection of sourcebooks for you to play with.
How I wish I could play that game again, I just need to find my Torg deck 🙂
